The Travel Edit
After a long hiatus sourcing fashion in Japan, Ronnie is back with extraordinary pieces from modern Japanese designers and a handful of vintage accessories, including this collection of clutches made from salvaged vintage kimonos. The clutches and other treats such as such as hairpins, earrings, and jewelry accent any basic ensemble and are perfect accompaniment for Spring.
The majority of Ronnie's time in Japan was spent liaising with students at the Bunka fashion college rubbing elbows with graduating students poised to make history on the Japanese haute fashion stage. It was here that Ronnie scored fashion from an eclectic mix of new artists that inspired our avant-garde Spring series, "Hikage."
The Hikage series that will be available during the month of March, and in-store only. It features one-of-a kind pieces ranging in price from $800 - $8,000, as well as small batched produced items such as this Double Breasted Trench Coat from long-time Bunka alum Watanabe, known for his extremely structured and technologically advanced textiles, and dramatic draping.

While our number one priority is to introduce new and seasoned designers to unique niches and retail markets, we also work closely with wholesalers, liquidators, and other sellers to responsibly resell off-season or overstock items. Sometimes we also play with salvaged items and repurpose them for the LuxxUniversity.
